Privacy Policy

VIDIARI ("we", "us") helps short-form creators find content ideas and turn them into videos. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We've written it in plain language on purpose.

What we collect

• Account information. Your email address, and your sign-in credentials: a passkey's public key, a hashed password, or both. We never see or store your actual password in readable form, and a passkey's private key never leaves your device.
• Content you create. The trends and ideas you save, including the niche and platform you file them under, and — as features launch — the scripts and videos you generate.
• Technical basics. Standard logs needed to run and secure the service, such as IP address and browser type, kept briefly for security and debugging.

We do not collect your contacts, your location, or anything from your social media accounts.

What we use it for

• Signing you in and keeping your account secure
• Showing you your own saved ideas, scripts, and videos
• Sending the emails you request, like sign-in links and password resets
• Fixing problems and preventing abuse

We do not sell your personal information, and we don't show ads or share your data with advertisers.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies — the ones that keep you signed in. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking. That's why you don't see a cookie banner here.

Who processes your data

Like most modern apps, we run on trusted infrastructure providers, who process data only on our instructions:

• Supabase — stores your account and saved content, and handles sign-in
• Vercel — hosts the website

Trend data comes from public sources. Your personal information is not sent to those sources.

How long we keep it

Your account data and saved content stay for as long as you have an account. Delete your account and they're deleted with it. Security logs are kept only briefly.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, export it, or delete your account and everything in it. Email hello@vidiari.app from your account's email address and we'll take care of it. Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK under GDPR, or California under CCPA), these rights are also guaranteed to you by law — we honor them for everyone regardless.

Children

VIDIARI is not for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.

Changes

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top and, for significant changes, let you know by email or in the app before they take effect.
